—Hello,
My name is Nico. And my surname is unpronounceable.
I’m an independent Creative Director working with agencies, brands and institutions to make an impact.
I started out as an Art Director at Leo Burnett Madrid in 2009, and have been learning new tricks ever since, developing a taste for holistic campaigns, where a solid strategy meets a strong concept and flawless craft.
Along the way, I’ve worked for some of the best agencies in Spain (and a few international ones), managed local, regional and global accounts and won my fair share of awards.
In 2020 I decided to leave the comfort of a steady job behind and become an independent creative, focusing on two things: exploring the many aspects of creativity inside and outside the industry and using it as a force for good.
This last point inspired me to found a design collective aimed at raising awareness about the climate crisis (Hagamos) and to become a member of Creatives for the Future’s Action Team.
Other than that, I love languages (I’m fluent in Spanish, English and German, and I’m currently working on my French and Italian), I’m a bit of a bookworm and terrible at any sport ever invented by man.
